Meg's Coleslaw Dressing
Creamy tangy dressing for coleslaw or other vegetable salads
Ingredients
- 2 cups Hellman's Mayonnaise (other brands are too sweet, too sour or rubbery)
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 tsp ground black or white pepper
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp celery salt
Instructions
- Mix with whisk. I let it sit 5 minutes or so while salt and sugar dissolve.
- Adjust to taste with dash of salt or pepper, a pinch more sugar or couple drops more vinegar.
- I use regular cabbage, a little red cabbage, carrots, scallions or Vidalia onion, and a little fresh parsley. But you know they sell broccoli, kale and other slaw veggies ready to dress as well. This dressing would be great for that broccoli salad with red onion, bacon and raisins, too.
