Ingredients
for the filling

can tart cherries
drained (see note below about fruit selection)

frozen blackberries

medium apples
peeled, cored, sliced (one Granny Smith and one Golden Delicious)

for the topping

Instructions
Oven to 350.
Combine the filling ingredients and pour into a suitably-sized baking dish. A Fiesta two-quart serving bowl is just right.
Combine the topping ingredients and stir until the butter and sugar are incorporated.
Pour the topping over the filling and pack lightly.
Bake until fruit is tender and bubbly, and the top is lightly browned, about 45 minutes.
